Sunset Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Middletown, Pennsylvania.
Sunset Golf Course first opened for play in 1963.
Sunset Golf Course overlooks Harrisburg International Airport and the Susquehanna River The average to large-sized greens give even the higher handicapped golfer an easy read and true roll to the cup.
Highlighting the par-70 layout is its signature 10th hole. This 345-yard, par-4 is one of five dogleg-right holes on the course. A large vertical drop from the tee box to a narrow tree-lined fairway gives golfers a variety of clubs with which to begin their back nine.
Water comes into play on four holes, most notably protecting the left side of holes No. 12 and 16. Most of the 36 greenside bunkers protect the front nine while there are also a few strategically-placed fairway bunkers.
Blue tees: 6,373 yards, course rating 69.0, slope rating 113.
White tees: course rating 68.0, slope rating 113.
Red tees: course rating 69.9, slope rating 113.

Tee'd off at 6 AM done by 8:50 Maintenance staff could not keep up to stay ahead. All depends of time of day you play - weather (drought) could be reason for some defects in fairways and greens

Back nine is substantially more challenging. Decent condition. Senior rate was excellent value. Pace was terrible; needed marshal.
